Come Celebrate My October Birthday with Me!

I'm turning 30 and I'd love to celebrate this milestone birthday with you! I have some ideas below that would make this month so very special for us. From dinners to events the possibilities are endless! If we can't see each other this month don't worry, we can always have a belated celebration in November ;).

The Old Globe Presents: Cabaret Sept. 1st - Oct. 15th (6+ hour date $1800)

Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome to Cabaret! It’s 1931 Berlin, and inside the Kit Kat Klub, British nightclub singer Sally Bowles keeps the delirious party raging. But no amount of booze, music, and dancing can slow the ominous march of a changing Germany as it draws ever closer. Featuring an iconic score from Kander and Ebb—including “Maybe This Time,” “Mein Herr,” “Don’t Tell Mama,” and, of course, the title song—this Tony Award–winning musical is reimagined in a visionary new staging by Globe favorite Josh Rhodes (Guys and Dolls, Bright Star). Taste of North Park 2023 Oct. 7th (4+ hour date $1500)

Home to culinary innovation and cutting-edge brewmasters, North Park is a go-to San Diego destination for everything food and drink. On Saturday, October 7th, from 11AM to 3PM, the Taste of North Park invites culinary enthusiasts to enjoy over 40 food tastes from San Diego’s best restaurants.


14th San Diego Spirits Festival Oct. 7-8th (4+ hour date $1500)

Secret Society of Adultologists: Old Hollywood Oct. 13th (6+ hour date $1800)

Playing with Fire Dinner Series Oct. 9 (4+ hour date $1500)

The popular monthly outdoor grilling event series Playing with Fire returns for another season at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival Nov. 8-12th (4+ hour date $1500)

The Old Glode Presents: Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Nov. 8th - Dec 31st (6+ hour date $1800)

Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! is a wonderful, whimsical musical based upon the classic Dr. Seuss book. Back for its 26th incredible year, the family favorite features the songs “Santa for a Day,” “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” and “Welcome, Christmas (Fah Who Doraze),” the delightful carol from the popular animated version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Coronado Island Flim Festival Nov. 8-12th (6+ hour date $1800)

We showcase films of every genre selected by an esteemed jury of industry pros, made with passion and persistence by filmmakers at every level of the craft, from gifted students to talented newcomers to Oscar winners, who take part in panels, workshops, special presentations and more; and we roll out the red carpet for the grand Leonard Maltin Industry Tribute Gala, where the stars indeed do shine on Saturday night.


Brothels, Bites and Booze (4+ hour date $1500)
